How this site handles personal data.

Short version: this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We receive personal data only when you write to us.

Controller

The controller of personal data processed through ontic.city is Ontic Cities. Contact: hello@ontic.city. The controller's full legal name and postal address will be added to this page when the store opens.

Contact mailbox

Messages sent to hello@ontic.city are received through Amazon Web Services (SES, EU Frankfurt region) and forwarded to the controller's mailbox. We use your address and message to reply and, when requested, to send one launch notification and one release notification for the city you named. Our lawful basis for replying is our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (art. 6(1)(f) RODO/GDPR). Notifications are sent with your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), given when you request them. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us again. We retain the data while the correspondence remains open, then for up to 12 months or until the requested notification has been sent, whichever is later.

Hosting and fonts

The site is served through Amazon CloudFront, which processes your IP address to deliver the page and may do so from an edge location outside the EU under AWS's standard contractual clauses. We keep no access logs. Fonts load from Google Fonts, operated by Google LLC (USA) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google receives your IP address with the font request. We intend to serve the fonts from this domain and will update this page when that change is complete.

To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or data portability, write to hello@ontic.city. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
